Like all the car awnings in the range, Columbus Variant is also made with high quality materials that guarantee resistance and comfort. The fiberglass shells combine strengths and lightness in a single material, easy to wash and repair in case of damage (however unlikely); AIRTEX® fabrics offer maximum impermeability with an excellent degree of transpiration, for nights that are always dry and comfortable. In Columbus car roof tents, everything contributes to a product of excellence.

The shells are made according to an accurate artisan technique that offers the best guarantees: a quality structure, compact and removable over time, not comparable to common plastics or similar products on the market. Furthermore, fiberglass polyester keeps the internal environment more isolated from heat and cold, is easy to clean and allows the use of aggressive products.

Columbus becomes a convenient container during the journey. The particular design allows you to arrange travel accessories, sheets, sleeping bags, personal effects, all in the shelter.

Standard: 2 internal safety blocks to withstand the most violent gusts of wind (with the blocks inserted the awning does not close).

Standard: 2 convenient internal storage pockets, each on each side.

Standard: 2 doors on both sides with internal roll-up mosquito nets; these openings are transformed into comfortable windows by means of specially prepared circular hinges.

The aluminum ladder has a minimal footprint: it can be folded for travel or removable during the night.

Convenient storage net placed in the upper part inside, to accommodate sleeping bags, towels and personal effects.

During the closing phase, the elastic tie rods supplied, manually activated with comfortable clips, facilitate the folding of the fabric inside the shell. Elastics well arranged, not sewn directly on the fabrics, do not generate "ruches" or curls on the fabric, do not damage it; so as to avoid infiltrations and aesthetic imperfections on the curtain. This feature makes it easier to close the awning even on very tall vehicles.

Announcements! SUNSHADE: so comfortable that we wanted it "standard"

The original rear awning is now standard on all our Variant models. Sunshade instantly transforms the tailgate into very useful additional protection. Its structural reliability is further guaranteed by the arched poles integrated into the fabric. This choice allows to overcome the problems of traditional pressure applied studs, which can cause tears in the fabric where they are placed in case of high stresses such as gusts of wind.

WHEN THE ROOF TENT IS OPEN IT IS CHARACTERIZED BY A LARGE REAR OPENING IN 6 VARIATIONS:
