INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EXERCISE OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Pursuant to Article 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005) and European Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the Consumer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day on which they physically take possession of the products.
1. How to exercise the right of withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform us of their decision by an unequivocal statement. You can do so by contacting:

The statement can be sent via traditional post, PEC, or by a simple email to our customer service. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for the Customer to send the communication before the 14-day period has expired.
2. Effects of withdrawal and reimbursement
If the Customer withdraws from this contract legitimately, we shall reimburse all payments received from them regarding the returned product, including the costs of the initial delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
Timing: We will carry out the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about the decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until the Customer has supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
Reimbursement Method: We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as used for the initial transaction, unless the Customer has expressly agreed otherwise.
Return Shipping Costs: The direct costs of returning the goods to our headquarters in Calceranica al Lago (TN) are entirely borne by the Customer, both for Italy and for European and non-European countries. Due to the heavy, bulky, and large nature of most of our products (such as roof tents, outboard or electric motors, inflatable boats, kayaks, and canoes), the return shipping cannot be handled via ordinary postal services. These return costs depend on the weight and volume of the parcel and (both from Italy and Europe) can be substantial, ranging approximately from €100 to over €300 depending on the specialized freight carrier chosen by the Customer and the place of departure.
3. Condition of returned goods and Diminution of Value for High-Value Products (Roof Tents, Motors, Inflatable Boats, Kayaks, Canoes, SUP)
For products of a complex nature and high technological or structural value (such as Tents, Motors, Inflatable Boats, Kayaks, Canoes, SUP), the consumer has the right to examine the goods to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning, exactly as they would be allowed to do in a physical retail store.
The Customer is, however, liable for any diminution of the value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
Specifically:
For Outboard/Electric Motors: Examining the product strictly excludes water testing or starting the engine. If the engine is filled with fuel, lubricants, or fluids, if it is turned on, connected to on-board electrical systems, or permanently installed on a transom, the item will lose its "brand new" status and assume "used" status. In the event of withdrawal under these conditions, La Sportiva will deduct an amount from the refund equal to the real commercial depreciation of the item on the used market. This amount will be quantified and communicated to the Customer following a documented technical inspection (including photographs showing the condition of the goods).
For Roof Tents: Examining the product allows for a visual inspection of the item. If the tent is mounted on the vehicle's roof bars, used outdoors, exposed to weather elements, or if it shows dirt on the fabrics, scratches on the hard shells, or lacks the original sealed mounting kits, the refund will be reduced proportionally to the cost of restoration or its commercial depreciation.
For Inflatable Boats, Kayaks, Canoes, and SUPs (Inflatable and Rigid): Examining the product allows for opening the packaging and inflating the product in a clean and dry environment to check its integrity and dimensions. Testing in water (both fresh and salt water) is strictly excluded. If the product is returned wet, with traces of dirt, sand, algae, or shows scratches on the hull (for rigid models) or abrasions on the PVC, the item will be considered "used". In this case, La Sportiva will deduct from the refund the costs necessary for professional cleaning, drying, and restoration, as well as the commercial depreciation of the asset (up to the full value of the product if it is no longer safe for water use).
4. Condition of returned goods and diminution of value for standard items
For standard products where the right of withdrawal remains fully valid (e.g., ready-to-stock camping accessories, standard gazebos, non-customized giftware):
The products must be returned undamaged, preferably in their original packaging, and complete with all accessories, manuals, and documentation.
The Customer is only liable for any diminution of the value of the goods resulting from the handling of the goods other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods (exactly as it would happen in a physical store).
If the returned goods show signs of wear, scratches due to assembly, structural damage, or lack of original parts, La Sportiva will perform a technical appraisal and deduct a share equal to the real depreciation and loss of commercial value of the product from the refund.
