ACTIVATION SYSTEMS

Automatic activation (self-inflating life jacket): in the event of a fall overboard, the system is submerged and automatically activates the inflation of the buoyancy chamber. It is also possible to activate the life jacket manually.

Manual activation: the system is activated by pulling the appropriate lever.

Oral inflation: to inflate the chamber it will be sufficient to blow inside the oral tube. It is present in both self-inflating lifejackets and those with exclusively manual activation.

The AIR BAG SMART 150 self-inflating life jacket is supplied with UML-MK5, an automatic water-soluble tablet activator.

The oral tube is always present in all VSG inflatable lifejackets.
