As soon as the engine is idling and running, the function is automatically active. When sailing,

the propeller starts spinning due to the water current. Starting from a speed of 3 knots (for example on the

Spirit 1.0 Evo) the engine begins to generate enough power to charge the battery.

Charging power increases to a speed of 10 knots. Then the safety function turns off the charge for

protect the motor electronics from overload.
